Recently 1st graders at Xavier Elementary Marquette St Campus enjoyed the sweetness of spring with the magic of maple syrup season at Bubolz preserve. Students learned the history and process of making maple syrup from the sugar bush to the sugar shack. They also tapped a maple tree and enjoyed ice cream topped with real, 100% maple syrup.
