What is Celebrate?

Celebrate is the premier fundraising event for Xavier Catholic Schools. Funds raised at Celebrate support the entire System. Everyone is invited to attend, get involved, and support Celebrate.

Last year, over 500 people attended Celebrate and raised over $460,000 to support teachers and staff in the wonderful work they do daily for our students! Money raised at Celebrate helps keep the quality Catholic education that our children receive as affordable as possible. In addition, the event provides an opportunity for parents and supporters to come together for a common cause while socializing.

General information:

  • Celebrate will be held on January 25, 2020 at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center.
  • Guests are seated at tables of 10 for dinner. You may form your own table of 10 or we’ll find other wonderful people with whom to seat you. (Invitations mailed in December.)
  •  Early Bird admission prices are $100/person.

Fund-raising highlights of the evening—it features something for everyone!

  • Silent & Live Auctions

Xavier Day

Thank You!

Thank you Xavier nation for your generosity and support of Xavier Day 2019!  We hope you had as much fun as we did.  We will continue to update this page as we are still calculating the total (matching gifts are now included in current total).  Go Hawks!

Current total: $100,946.84

What is Xavier Day?  It is the opportunity for our parents, alumni, dedicated faculty and staff, current and future students, friends of the Xavier community, and newest alumni; the Class of 2019 seniors (graduating on Xavier Day) to join us and celebrate the pride you have for Xavier Catholic Schools.  In its third year, our goal in 2019 is to increase participation on social media, have 350 supporters make a donation (250 of which are Xavier alumni), and raise $100,000 for Xavier Catholic Schools!

New this year: Visit our Facebook page throughout the day as we live stream different events at each of our campuses.

In the Appleton area?  Join other Xavier supporters (alumni, parents, teachers, past staff, grandparents, parents of alumni, friends of the Xavier community- all are welcome!) at our lunch and/or evening gatherings!  On May 29th, we will be at Good Company (110 N Richmond St, Appleton, 54912) for lunch from 11:00 AM - 1:00PM and at the Appleton Yacht Club (1200 S Lutz Dr, Appleton, 54914) from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM for snacks, drinks and camaraderie.  Visit our Facebook page for more information on these events.
There are several ways you can participate:

Wear your favorite Xavier gear. There are many ways to show your Xavier pride.  Rep your favorite t-shirt, hat, or sweatshirt.  Sip out of your Xavier coffee mug.  Put out the Xavier yard sign.  The possibilities are endless!  Be sure to share what your wear on social media using #XavierDay2019.

Care by making a donation to Xavier Catholic Schools Annual Fund, Angel Fund or the Xavier Catholic Schools Foundation.   Donations can be made through the online donation form on the right side of this page.  No gift is too small and every donation plays a vital role in maintaining and improving the excellence of Xavier Catholic Schools, and furthers its position as the area’s most premier Catholic educational experience.

Those interested in donating in person, please visit any one of the campus offices on Xavier Day.  Xavier High School will have an iPad available if you prefer to pay by credit card.

Your donation may be eligible for a gift match! $40,550 in matching gifts is on the line and we need your help!Click here to see available matches.  If more than one gift match challenge applies to you, your donation will be included in all that apply.

A generous benefactor has challenged the Xavier alumni nation to make a gift on Xavier Day*.  $100 will be contributed for each alumnus/ae that makes a gift, up to $25,000.  Simply put, if 250 individuals, or less than five alumni from each of our past Xavier graduating classes make a donation, we can unlock $25,000 in gift matches!  *Alumni supporters, your donation will also be applied to the alumni class challenge!

Food Fair

THANK YOU for your support of the 47th and Final Food Fair on 05.05.19!

Since 1972, Food Fair has brought together thousands of people for one day to enjoy amazing food, great entertainment and fabulous camaraderie.  Food Fair began as a high school event to raise money for tuition assistance and scholarships.  In the last decade, it evolved from a high school event to a System wide fundraiser to help Xavier Catholic Schools prioritize the needs of its students, award financial aid, and take advantage of arising opportunities throughout the System.
With deliberation from staff, supporters, and volunteers, the difficult decision has been made to make this the Final Food Fair event.  We understand this announcement may be disappointing to those individuals who have long invested their time and talent in volunteering, attending and supporting Food Fair.  Looking ahead, the goal is to create a new event that will still bring people from throughout Xavier Catholic Schools and the greater community together, just in a new format.
To the volunteers involved with Food Fair in the past, and those assisting in this final year, thank you so much for your commitment and diligence in sustaining it for 47 years!  While this is the end of an era, Food Fair will long be remembered as an important event that served Xavier Catholic Schools and the community.

Tour De Francis

The 5th Annual Tour de Francis Benefit Ride was on Sunday, May 5, 2019
Thank you for your support! We hope to see you again next year.

All dollars generated from this community event allow Xavier Catholic Schools to provide students opportunities for excellence in the classroom, fine arts, and in many extra-curricular and athletic experiences. In addition, every dollar helps pay the quality, dedicated staff and helps make a St. Francis Xavier education accessible to as many families as possible.

“The Tour” is about getting outside and enjoying your ride with family and friends.  We are really hoping to get the Xavier community together in a fun activity before heading to Xavier’s 47th International Food Fair!

The ride starts and ends at The CDW Building (4321 W. College Ave, Appleton, WI 54914).  It is the building directly across College Avenue from the main Entrance to the Fox River Mall.

The Tour de Francis has 3 routes to choose from:

  •  The 10 mile route caters to families, including those with small children.  There is   a rest stop at Fritse Park, with cookies, fruit, and water.  Kids can take a break   from riding their bikes and play on the Playground Equipment, or try the huge   slide on the hill.  Fox Cities Cycling Ambassadors, are trained by the APD in safe   riding skills and rules, and will be on hand to do “guided tours” on the family   ride.  The entire 10 mile family ride is on sidewalks or designated bike paths.
  •  The 25 and 62.5 mile routes cater to more experienced riders. Both are well   marked with signs, and have fully stocked rest stops along the way.  The 25 and   62.5 mile rides are on open roads.

Vehicles will be patrolling all routes in case of flat tires, mechanical fixes, etc.
