There is something for everyone- whether you like to bike, run, or walk; we hope you will join us!
Keeping you safe
Due to COVID, in order to keep all participants safe and to also adhere to local guidelines, the following rules will be in place this year and strictly enforced:
- Participate virtually! Register online for your event t-shirt but complete the route on your own time. Share your adventure on social media using #XCSWhatMovesYou2020
- Anyone interested in participating must pre-register. Unfortunately, walk-up registrations will not be available this year.
-Participants are asked to bring their own bottled water.
-Masks are required while on Xavier High School grounds and on the route when social distancing from others is not possible. Same-household participants may choose to unmask while on the route.
- To guarantee safe social distancing, arrive on time for your designated start time, park in your designated area, and promptly leave when you finish your route.
- To receive an event t-shirt, please register by Thursday, October 1st.
All dollars generated from this community event allow Xavier Catholic Schools to provide students opportunities for excellence in the classroom, fine arts, and in many extra-curricular and athletic experiences. In addition, every dollar helps pay the quality, dedicated staff and helps make a St. Francis Xavier education accessible to as many families as possible.
Event will be held rain or shine. Since this is a fundraising event, unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate refunds if the event is canceled.
Tour de Francis begins and ends at St. Bernard Parish (located off Pine Street, behind Xavier High School). Fun Run/Dog Walk begins and ends at Xavier High School, 1600 W Prospect Ave, Appleton, WI, 54914.
Save the Date for Celebrate 2021: January 30, 2021
What is Celebrate?
Celebrate is the annual premier fundraising event for St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System. Celebrate 2021 will be held on January 30, 2021. Historically this event includes a dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles and games, and plenty of fun and socializing. What will Celebrate 2021 include? That is a great question! We are simultaneously planning multiple scenarios, including in-person, completely virtual, and hybrid options. Local guidelines and participant preferences will guide us as we move forward and our final plans will be communicated as they are determined.
Planning is underway for Celebrate 2021!
Many things are uncertain and unknown in our world right now. What we do know is that it remains vital to continue to support our students and staff, so we still need to raise funds for that support. It is our hope that you and your friends will make plans to support Xavier students and staff on January 30, 2021.
If you are interested in being involved with the Celebrate 2021 fundraising adventure through sponsoring, donating, and/or volunteering, please contact Lisa at (920) 735-9380 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Celebrate 2020 – A Huge Success!

The challenges of COVID could not stop us from celebrating our school pride. Even apart, the community still came together, digitally, and in spirit to CELEBRATE. UNITE. SUPPORT. Xavier Catholic Schools.
Save the date! Join us for our 5th annual Xavier Day: Friday, May 7, 2021
New for 2021
In the event’s fifth year, we are excited to announce Xavier Spirit Week (Monday, May 3 through Friday, May 7th). There are so many great things going on at Xavier Catholic Schools, we need more than just one day to celebrate with our Xavier nation. Specifics of the week are still being discussed, but each of our campuses will have a day that is focused on them: Monday we will showcase Xavier Elementary School- Marquette Street, Xavier Elementary School- McDonald Street will be on Tuesday, Xavier Middle School will be highlighted on Wednesday, Xavier High School on Thursday, and Friday, Xavier Day, we celebrate the entire System!
What is Xavier Day? It is the opportunity for our parents, alumni, dedicated faculty and staff, current and future students, friends of the Xavier community, and newest alumni; the graduating seniors to join us and celebrate the pride you have for Xavier Catholic Schools. The theme of the day is CELEBRATE. UNITE. SUPPORT.
Celebrate. Celebrate your appreciation for Xavier Catholic Schools on Xavier Day by wearing Xavier gear; rep your favorite t-shirt, hat, or sweatshirt. Put out the Xavier yard sign, sip out of a Xavier coffee mug, the possibilities are endless! Here are some fun ways you can participate:
-Post on social media using the #XavierDay2021. Use this day as the opportunity to share your favorite Xavier memory or #XavierXperience, share throwback photos of you with your friends, a favorite teacher, etc.
-Share a current photo of you wearing your Xavier gear and/or making the Xavier “X” with the people you are with.
-Bring out the sidewalk chalk and your creativity! Draw the Hawk, write an inspiring message, your favorite scripture, or a Xavier cheer.
Unite. Xavier Day is a day that Xavier nation can come together and share with others the special community we are. This includes our alumni, parents, current students, faculty/staff, grandparents, benefactors, and area parishes. Whether you are in Appleton, across the state, country, or international, the use of social media on Xavier Day allows us to unite together, near or far, and celebrate the impact Xavier Catholic Schools has had on each one of us. We welcome everyone to be a part of the Xavier family.
Support. If you are able to, we ask you to prayerfully consider making a donation to Xavier Catholic Schools. Your gift on Xavier Day, can be designated to a number of different areas, but we ask you to consider directing your generosity to the Xavier Fund, the Angel Fund, towards technology, or towards one our Xavier Foundation scholarship funds.
Our Angel Fund helps provide tuition assistance for those families currently experiencing financial hardship. Gifts to technology, provide the tools to enhance and support our students and faculty with extended distance learning. Donations to individual scholarship funds help provide assistance to those desiring a faith filled education but need help covering the cost.
Your donation may be eligible for a gift match! Each year, matching gifts are available thanks to the generosity of several Xavier supporters.
