Transportation Options
Xavier is always researching transportation options for our families and has compiled the following list of Transportation Options for your reference. Please contact Paula Mayer; pmayer@xaviercatholicschools.org or (920) 735-9380 ext: 5422 with any questions or concerns regarding transportation for your students!
Xavier Catholic School uses Lamers Bus Lines to provide transportation for our families. Please read below to see if you are eligible for transportation through the Appleton Area School District. If you would like to request transportation, go to your student’s PowerSchool account and complete the Transportation Request Form under the Student Forms section.
A Xavier student who meets the following four criteria is eligible for Lamers bus transportation services:
1. The student must reside within the Appleton Area School District’s boundaries.
2. The private school (SFXCSS Campus) is located within the boundaries of the public school district, or not more than 5 miles away along a normally traveled route.
3. The student resides at least two miles away from the private school (SFXCSS Campus).
4. The student resides within the private school’s (SFXCSS Campus) approved attendance area.
Additionally, Xavier is happy to offer a shuttle bus from the St. Bernadette Parish in Appleton to the elementary, middle and high school campuses every morning and afternoon. St. Bernadette Parish is located at 2331 E Lourdes Dr, Appleton 54915. The bus leaves the parish parking lot at approximately 7:05 am and returns to the parish at 4:18 pm. There is no cost to use this service. Parents are required to complete the Transportation Request Form under the Student Forms section of their student’s PowerSchool account annually.
Students can be picked up and/or dropped off at an existing Appleton School District bus stop for a quarterly fee. The 26-27 school year quarterly fee is $45.50 for one-way transportation or $91.00 for two-way transportation, per child. The annual school year fee is $364.00. This option is based on your home address and is determined by the school district.
Xavier middle school and high school students have access to Valley Transit which allows Xavier students to ride Valley Transit for free by showing their student identification card. Free rides are offered on all regular Valley Transit bus routes anytime the buses operate on weekdays and on Saturdays.
Students residing in the Hortonville Area School District are eligible for transportation to Xavier High School based on their residency in the area designated as the approved attendance area. To determine if your child is eligible, please contact the Hortonville Area School District at 920-779-4055.
Several other local school districts provide transportation stipends to Xavier families. Please contact your local school district to determine if you are eligible for a stipend.
