Faith Formation

Faith formation and spiritual development at Xavier Catholic Schools is integrated within the formation of the whole person. We are committed to the development of each individual student since in Christ human persons find their ultimate model. Our students learn about faith in Jesus through classroom instruction, weekly Mass, praying the Rosary, and recognizing 'God moments' in the course of their daily lives.

Xavier students pray daily and are able to learn the significance of the liturgical year, including saint day celebrations, Advent prayer services, Stations of the Cross, and Reconciliation. We also work with our supporting parishes to provide sacramental preparation and religious education.

  • Students receive classroom instruction and attend Mass regularly
  • Students come to understand the gospel message through the teachings of the Catholic Church
  • Students are encouraged to live out the gospel message in their daily lives
Xavier High School Blessed Sacrament Procession

Participating in the Sacramental Life of the Church through weekly Sunday Mass attendance and regular confession is the primary study of the Catholic Faith. We invite and encourage you with open hearts to participate in the sacramental life of your parish.
