Alayna McKinnon receiving her Ray Aviation Scholarship
Alayna McKinnon, Xavier High School Junior, received the Ray Aviation Scholarship in the amount of $11,000. The scholarship is given to high schoolers (16 years or older) to help them earn their private pilot's license. She will be starting her classes soon and will have her license in about a year. In the future, she is planning on attending college to earn a commercial pilot license.
