Project Lead the Way module "Energy and Collision" tasked the Xavier Elementary - McDonald 4th-graders to design a vehicle to house an egg to protect it in the event of a collision. Kids were questioning "Who cares if the egg is protected: it is just an egg?" So Miss Lindemann upped the stakes and added their school photos to the eggs. "Do you want to protect your friends?" Genius!
Kids came up with some great vehicles with about a 50% survival rate. 100% educational AND fun!
