At Xavier Theatre, our goal is to exceed our patron’s expectations from purchase to performance. We value our patrons and created a resolution process for cancelled shows that meets your needs and expectations.
In the unlikely event a single performance or entire production is cancelled, we have developed options for patrons holding tickets to the affected show(s). This information is also posted on our production websites:
Patrons holding tickets to a cancelled production or performance, will be offered several options. See below for a full explanation. Patrons who used vouchers or Silver, Gold, or complimentary tickets to obtain their seats should contact the box office for specific instructions. Unredeemed vouchers issued for a cancelled production will be honored for a future performance.
Consider donating your ticket purchase:
Donations benefit the theatre by offsetting expenses related to unexpected cancellations of a production or performance. Please consider donating your ticket purchase by contacting the box office.
Donations may be tax-deductible; please consult your tax advisor. To receive a donation letter for tax purposes please contact us within 30 days of the cancelled performance. Have the following information ready to assist in processing your request:
- Name and contact information of person who purchased the tickets including, email, mailing address and phone number. OR
- Transaction Number from your purchase

Request voucher to a future production:
Xavier Theatre: Patrons holding tickets to a single cancelled performance or production have the option to transfer their ticket(s) to one of the remaining dates and times of the affected production or obtain a voucher for any remaining Xavier Theatre production in the same academic year (excluding Christmas Stars or All Rise! The Northeast Wisconsin Passion Play). In the event that the cancelled performance or production is the last of the academic year, the face value* of the ticket(s) will be refunded upon request.
One voucher will be issued per ticket purchased. Transfer fees will be waived. No price differential will be recognized. Acceptance of a voucher waives the right to request refund at a later date. Vouchers must be requested prior to the last scheduled performance date for the affected production.

Request A Refund:
Refunds are offered only in the event that a performance or production is cancelled by the theatre. Refunds may be requested by contacting the box office within 30 days of the cancelled performance or production.
Refunds are given for the face value of tickets purchased, which does not include service fees on credit card purchases. These fees are established and collected by Showtix4u, our box office vendor, and are nonrefundable.
When contacting the box office, please have the following information ready to assist in processing your request:
- Name and contact information of person who purchased the tickets including, email, mailing address and phone number.
- Transaction Number from your receipt
Refunds will be issued to the credit card used at time of purchase. Cash or check purchases will be refunded by check only. Allow up to 3 weeks for processing of check refunds.
